ABOUT US
The Dental Centre first opened its doors in 1965. Mr. Willie Burns was the Principal and the practice was based in Gladstone Road. In 1991, Mr. Burns decided to relocate the practice to a more convenient and central location near the Saltcoats train station, in the heart of the town. Mr. Andrew Hutchison, who had joined Mr. Burns as an Associate in 1983, acquired the practice in 1998. Mr Hutchison retired from the dental profession in March 2018, handing over the practice to the current Principal Mrs. Preeti Arora.
At The Dental Centre, our primary focus is patient care. We realise our responsibility to continue to innovate and educate in order to provide the best care for our patients. The practice is known for delivering excellent standard of NHS and Private dental care in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
We strongly believe that prevention is better than cure which is why we will do our best to help you avoid any dental problems.
General Dentistry
General dentistry covers a range of treatment options and procedures fundamental to protecting and maintaining a good standard of oral health. Treatments are in place to keep your mouth, gums, and teeth healthy and free of pain.

Cosmetic Dentistry
Unlike general dentistry, cosmetic services are geared towards improving the appearance of your teeth rather than just patching them up: consider cosmetic dentistry to be a makeover for your teeth. Although the primary goal is to improve your smile, many cosmetic dentistry services also improve the health and durability of your teeth. Cosmetic dentistry may be as simple as replacing one filling on a front tooth right through to reconstructing your whole smile.

IMPLANT Dentistry
The best way to replace missing teeth is to get dental implants where a replacement like a crown, bridge, or denture (full/partial, or permanent/removable) can be fitted.
A dental implant is a screw surgically placed by your dentist into the jaw bone where your lost or missing tooth used to be.
fACIAL aESTHETICS
Facial aesthetics usually refer to non surgical treatments for the face that have rejuvenating or anti-ageing properties.
They can help mask or even delay the passage of time, giving the face, and the person, a small boost, thereby improving confidence as much as they improve a smile or skin.
At The Dental Centre, we believe that facial aesthetics should make a difference but without being overtly noticeable. The effect should be attractive, not alarming.
